Your dog’s safety is just as important to me as my own dog’s safety. Therefore my collars are designed to be safe as well as beautiful therefore they are all made and reinforced with only the finest materials. I use soft and sturdy polypropylene webbing. It has low stretch, especially when wet, good strength ratio (1125 lb. test), and is available in many great colors. I line all of my collars to add a soft protection for the dog’s neck. My signature lining is a polka-dot grosgrain ribbon. It is sturdy and provides style to the collar. I’m not able to get the polka-dot ribbon in all colors therefore solid colored ribbon linings are used in some of my designs. I have spent years purchasing my ribbon and fabric selection and have a large variety available. I’m continually looking for new stylish selections. I try to provide a large selection as I realize that everyone has different tastes and needs and I want everyone to find that perfect collar for their dog. When I began making my collars, I wanted a product that was safe from pulling apart. Therefore I made the decision to triple stitch all areas that will receive pull on them. I also use tight stitching to add extra strength. I sew the D-ring tight, preventing it from moving or spinning. This will prevent extra wear on the collar and give extra control. The hardware used in my collars is extremely important. There are ways to cut costs with lesser quality products, but I refuse to cut corners when it comes to the safety of the dogs. I use only premium quality hardware in the construction of my collars. The D-rings used are either solid brass or nickel-plated welded steel. The slides, clips and snaps I use are also either solid brass or nickel plated steel. These products are used for both their strength and beauty. They should wear great and look nice for years to come. |
